Viejo Amigo means “old friend” in Spanish, and represents a beautiful friendship between our two Sarasota area breweries. Brewed onsite at Big Top Brewing Company, the beer is a vanilla-espresso altbier – one of DBC brewmaster Jorge Rosabal’s favorite styles, but the local espresso from Out & About Coffee adds a unique flavor typical of our Brewmaster, Josh Wilson’s, brews. This is part 2/2 of a collaboration series. Fans of both breweries may remember part 1, the Ca d’Zan Killmu Imperial Porter.
